The Rose of Winslow Street

The Rose of Winslow Street, by Elizabeth Cadmen. Libby and her father return to their summer home to find a Romanian man and his family living in their home. They claim that the house is rightfully theirs and that it was sold illegally to Libby and her father so the house belongs to them! The two families are forced into a legal war to find the rightful owner of the house. In the meantime Libby finds herself drawn to this family and the reasons for their sudden departure from Romania. Compassion fills her and she takes it on herself to not only bring food to the family, but to defend them from the obscene behavior of some in the community. She finds herself falling for the man who stole her house!

This was an awesome book! I loved it! its a great lesson on compassion and looking past the faults of others! The story kept you wanting more from beginning to end! and had so many surprising twists and turns! Definitely a must read!!
