She travelled all around Europe seeing all the wonderful sights and tasting all the delicious candy, in anticipation of bringing some of Europe home with her. Only when she finally comes home, she discovers that her father had a heart attack some time ago and isn't getting better. Not only that, but their candy business is at risk of being shut down, and has been ever since her fathers taffy recipe was stolen. Determined not to let that happen Lucy sets to trying to create something to save her fathers shop, only she doesn't seem to be successful at it. Her only hope may be to Marry a man she doesn't love for the sake of her family. Charlie finds himself in quite a bit of trouble and although he hasn't seen his father since he was a young boy when he abandoned them, he i sent to work with him in an opportunity to make something of himself. He finds himself smitten with Lucy, but their parents own rival candy companies, how can it ever work.
Again this is a book that I couldn't put down, it captured my attention and held it till the last page! I fell in love with the characters and they're story! parts of this had me literally laughing out loud. A great read, this is one of those books to recommend to your friends, because you know they'll love it!!!!
